The Aquatic Recreation Area is closed for the 2021 season. We will open Summer 2022. The LJISD Sports and Learning Complex offers multiple amenities for our students and our surrounding community members. The Complex offers the latest State-of-the-Art technology, Full-dome Planetarium lessons that connect with the classroom curriculum, top-of-the-line Natatorium to host swimming and diving meets and competitions. The recreational area offers two body slides and one tube slide along with a lazy river for riders 48” and over, and two beautiful fun filled child and toddler water recreation area. This facility is OPEN to the PUBLIC all summer long. We offer Red Cross Learn to Swim Lessons throughout the Summer at a cost of $50 per student.

Great water park for bored kids at home. Both the kids loved it. Great for them to have summer options. Only downside is very little shade. I hope the can put up some more canopies. My sister did say the middle of the lazy river would be awesome with a bridge and shades with tables to watch the kids go around.

it’s alright but the life guards are so strict about every single thing, cant be in the river without a tube, cant enter/exit the pool through different areas, cant even enter certain areas of the pool for whatever reason, also its like $17 each adult

The lifeguards were socializing and eating popsicles in and out of the pool the whole time. There was no redirection at all. Kids were in adult area doing handstands, cannonballs, running around pool and hitting people with their feet. It was very disorganized.
